ASTM D2241 is the Standard Specification for Poly(Vinyl Chloride) (PVC) Pressure-Rated Pipe (SDR Series). Wall thickness is defined by SDR = OD ÷ minimum wall, producing a consistent pressure class across diameters for a given SDR.
Unlike ASTM D1785 (Schedule 40/80), D2241 is SDR-based. ALFA documents both series in Pre-Qualification technical pages.
